Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013

Happy New Year Kastelz Style!!!!!

 

Mommy and Daddy stayed in this year since they were recovering from the Flu and so were our Grandparents.  Mommy made this a fun night for all of us.  She planned a picnic in the living room, special food, hats and drinks. 

 

 

Then we got to go outside around 6pm and lite sparklers and color fog balls.  It was lots of fun.

 

We then went back inside and each had our own mini ice cream.

We got to stay up last and Mommy and Daddy put us to rest in our room by 7:30pm.  We had a great New Years Eve. 

PS.  I don't think Mommy and Daddy will make it until midnight either.... just a thought.

Thor loves us!  and we love our OCTONAUTS!!!!

 

 

Green House MawMaw

We always go to Green House MawMaw on Christmas Day.  She has a dinner and always makes a special table for us little girls. 

 

Then we have to pass out the gifts.  Now, that Talia can kinda read, we have to pass out the gifts.  I think Uncle Billy is happy that he doesn't have to do it anymore.

Christmas with Nana and Poppop

We are some lucky girls!  We get so many presents.  Mommy takes a picture each year of us with the unopened presents. 

Daddy says, the more presents we get the less he is getting....

 

We got awesome presents from everyone!  Minnie stuff, playdoh, OCTONAUTS! and more!

Talia the Seamstress

Talia took a roll of Princess wrapping paper and ON HER OWN made this dress.  She used the paper and tape.  I was very impressed and think she has been learning lots from her sewing Granny. 

 

After she showed me her work, I did help her tighten the back so it would stay up without help.  She made the shape and the style. 

First Family Cruise

We are headed to our first cruise!  SEVEN WHOLE DAYS ON A SHIP - with MOMMY AND DADDY!!!  This is should be interesting. 

 

We help Uncle Brian push the luggage down from the hotel room. 

 

 

We are one the ship.  The Carnival Legend.  We had a balcony room with a bed for Mommy and Daddy and a bunk bed for Talia and Ava. 

Talia was thrilled to have the top bunk bed.  She slept there the entire time. 

 

Each day at Camp Carnival had a theme and almost everyday they painted the kids faces to match the theme. 

We went to Honduras one of the days.  Mommy and Daddy rented a cabana for us.  We had a private beach, hammock and air conditioned hut.  We had so much fun playing with everyone.  Uncle Bri and Aunt Sarah played a lot with us in the water!

Ava got her hand SUCKED into the wall of the elevator.  I think it scared Daddy and Talia more than it scared or hurt Ava.  Either way, we had the ship Dr. check her out just to make sure all was ok.  It was!  Security made a very through report.  Mommy laughed at all the "legal" type questions they asked.

Tampa Aquarium

We all LOVE the ocean and the animals that live within.  On our way to our first cruise we stopped for a few hours at the Tampa Aquarium.  We were a little nervous the alligator would try to take a bite, but Dad protected us. 

 

Boy, don't Grandpa and Nana wish they could fish here.  These fish are toddler sized. 

Of course, there is a mermaid!  Can't have an ocean without a mermaid!
