First Night of Hanukkah

It's the first night of Hanukkah and boy am I excited!!!  This morning I saw all the presents Ava and I will be getting.  I also saw my menorah (my dora) and I kept arranging the candles until they were perfect!!!  This evening I helped Mommy light the candles and then it was PRESENT TIME!!!

First we had dinner at Chili's for fried stuff!  Actually, Mommy's school was having a fundraiser there so we went to help out!  Ava sat in a big kid highchair for the first time!



 When we got home I helped light the candles!  Ava and Daddy watched!

 Ava tried to eat her present!! 

 She got a cute baby doll!  I asked her if I could play with it.  She said no because I wouldn't let her play in my tent earlier.  So I told her she could come to my tent to play if she brought the baby doll too. 



Playing outside

I love playing outside and so does Ava.  I can play in my sandbox or on Granny's chairs. Granny or Mommy normally sit outside with me.  Granny plays with me and Mommy reads a book. 

 I am loving being outside too!  I really like my excersaucer and it's a lot of fun!!  I just have to make sure the doggies don't taste me!



Thanksgiving with the Wilsons

I have started sitting up!!!  Aren't I so cute!  I can sit up for almost a minute on my own!  

 This is my big YUMMY turkey leg - my very own!  Dad had one too and I made him do "cheers" with me! 

 Even Ava got to eat.  Nana made her sweet potato and she liked it!

Thanksgiving with the Kastelz Family

On Friday of Thanksgiving weekend we went to visit the Kastelzs'.  Maw Maw is our great grandmother.  

 I love it when Daddy hangs me upside down!  I scream and then tell him to do it again!!!

 I didn't want to be close to Uncle Billy... so Daddy had to hold me for the picture.  I didn't have an issue with hanging out with Aunt Samantha... but you got to watch those boys!

Thanksgiving with the Toblin's

We had our first Thanksgiving celebration with the Toblin's at the Parfitt's house.  There were a lot of people and we had a lot of fun!  Ava hung out with Mommy most of the time and Talia played with Daddy, Grandpa and a doggie!  

 My food was YUMMY YUMMY!!!  I even tried the spinach balls.

 Mommy carried me around!  I loved it. 

Thanksgiving Break

I am working on getting ready to crawl! I kinda lunge forward from here, but I am sure I will be crawling soon!! Then I can keep up with Talia. She is always on the move.

I am starting to show what a big girl I am. I am potty training and I want to pull my own pants up. I am just having issues getting the back pulled up each time.

Football Sunday

It's FOOTBALL TIME! We are getting ready to watch some football! Don't we look cute!

I am getting so BIG!!

I am slowly learning to eat! Mommy gave me a MumMum she thought I would just play with it. I ate it up and wanted more!!! Don't I just look so cute with my newborn hat on!!

I stayed DRY ALL DAY!!

I stayed dry all day at school today! I went to school in the same clothes I wore home and I didn't have any accidents! Mommy said I got a present for doing so well! I went to Walgreens and I picked out this fishing game! It's a lot of fun!

Ava rolls away!

I am just learning to crawl and move! I start on the blanket trying to get up and move and then I work my way to the TV. I am on the move, watch out world!!!

First Bath Together

This is our first bath together. It only lasted about 3 minutes or so until Ava started crying. But it was fun while it lasted.

Zoo Trip - Veteran's Day

We went to the zoo with Mommy on Veteran's Day. I had a lot of fun and so did Ava. We were both very good girls! I love riding the train. I got to see tons of animals and Mommy got to feed Ava.

I love to brush the goats. They are so cute and little.

I got to ride on the carousel. I picked out this horse. I was a little scared at first, but Mommy told me it was fine and I started to really like it!

Ava learns to eat food!

I have been showing Mommy and Daddy that I am interested in food. I am trying to take theirs and I am chewing when they eat. So, they decided it was time to introduce me to foods. I tried oatmeal for 2 days. I did really well with it. The 2nd time Mommy said she made too much, but I ate it all. I open my mouth wide and lean towards the spoon.

I was a little shocked at the taste and texture the first time or two, but I got used to it.

This was my face after my first bite of oatmeal. Mommy also said I liked my peas fine, but I wasn't as excited about them as Talia was the first time she had them.

Around the house!

I love playing with my big sister! But I always have to keep an eye on my Mommy. I am starting to be able to find my thumb. I think I like sucking it! I don't need a stinking paci!

My DORA DRESS!! I love it! I wear it to school and I wear it to bed.

First Cold Snap of the Year!!!

This morning we cuddled on the couch with Daddy. It's cold out, so we stayed warm by cuddling. Friday night before bedtime we got dressed in our matching pj's and then I read a book to Ava. She is doing so well starting to sit up.

I also read myself a book. I love the Three Little Pigs story.
