The Girls

Ava decided she wanted to ride the My Little Pony.  She she carefully figured out how to sit on the ponies back.

The night of tropical storm Beryl the girls slept in our room - that way everyone was safe and accounted for.  This is what I found when I went to check on them. 

Tonight the girls wanted to sleep together.  I figured it was only a few days earlier than I planned to attempt the toddler bed with Ava.  So we got it out and set up.  She was so excited.  She only came out of the room 2x.  The first with Talia and the 2nd for a diaper change.  She just looked out, shut the door and got back into the bed.  This is how I found them sleeping.

I don't really understand why there is a casual 3 year old graduation - but there is.

Here is Talia reading a book with her VPK teacher, Mrs. Gussie.  Talia was moved into the VPK class this past January.  She has excelled since having higher peers.  

Talia and Mrs. Odom.  Mrs. Odom was her 2 year old teacher and taught her the first 1/2 of her 3 year old year.  Talia learned TONS from Mrs. Odom and she loves her greatly.  Her Mommy loves Mrs. Odom too. 

Here is a picture of all the Seniors who help out in the daycare and the kids moving from Mrs. Odom to Mrs. Gussie's VPK next year.

 Today is DADDY'S BIRTHDAY!  I planned it all.  The theme, the cake, the outfits. 

 We had Phineus and Ferb decor, stickers and a pez.  We ordered pizza for dinner and had a Phineus and Ferb cake with chocolate. 

April 2012

As normal Mommy is slacking on our blog.  It's almost June and she has not posted since March.  Well she decided to put all of April in one post.  So here goes. 

Here I am trying to help cook. Mommy loves my help.... I think.  Even though she tells me to" hold my horses".  I don't remember what we were cooking, but I need to get seasonings out. 

I drew this at school.  We are learning about the life cycle. 

It's Passover time again!  We  are always in charge of the Charoset. 

Zoo Fun

Our day at the Zoo with MacKenzie and Lexi.  Talia discovered the standing part of the sit and stand stroller. 

The girls love feeding the giraffes.  I think I love feeding them too.

 Ava was so excited about the kangaroos.

There is a butterfly exhibit open now and Talia wanted the butterflies to land on her.  Of course they didn't because she wanted it. 

We then went to the splash park.  The girls had a great time and wore themselves out.

 We even ran into Shaun and Emily at the splash park.

TWO Princesses

We started dressing up early this morning.  Both Ava and I wanted to put on dresses. 

Ballet - Week 2 Costume

I just got my new ballet outfit.  I think I look like a ballerina princess. 

I think I might be a pro! 

Talia's first day of Ballet/Tap

I was a little nervous about what ballet class really was.  I cried on the way there, but I did ask for weeks to take ballerina dance lessons. 

I am waiting outside the classroom.  I am excited, but just not too sure what's about to happen.  I did see two of my friends from school in the class before me and they looked happy!

When they said we could come in I was a little slow going it.  I had to really check things out.  Mommy even showed me that they have a box of Princess dress up stuff.

I am almost ready to go it!!  I just needed to look back one more time and make sure it was ok.

I picked a purple star to sit on.  I sat next to Brooklyn, who is 5 and that made me happy.

This is how Mommy and Daddy watched me.  Ava watched for a little while and then she fell asleep on Mommy.

Last Minute Disney Trip

 As always Disney World is about lines.  We started out in line to see the Princesses right away!  I was really excited to see the princesses!

 When we got back into the room, there were three princesses waiting for us.  When it was time to go up to them, I got a little nervous about it.  But, I did go near them.

 Ava figured if the princess was sitting, so should she.  I was excited and nervous all at the same time.

 Mommy had to get into the pictures with us, we didn't want to be alone. 

 Ava liked taking rides with Grandpa.  Later I decided I was going to ride on Grandpa's lap for the rest of the day!

 My first ride was the teacups.  I really liked them.  I think Mommy kept trying to keep my tea cup from spinning.  We sure didn't go as fast as when I am with Poppop.

 It's a small world, it's a small world, it's a small world after all... is it in your head?  We all liked this ride.  Ava kept pointing to things and I was just busy looking around. 

 Then we got a LUCKY suprise!  There was an opening at Cinderella's castle for lunch!!!  I got pictures with Cinderella and all the princesses came by to see me while I had lunch. 

 I watched Snow White walk around the WHOLE room before she got to me.  She is my favorite.

 We were playing puppy dog while we waited for the Jungle Cruise.

 I had a lot of fun waiting for Tinker Bell. 

 Before we left, we got to ride in the race cars.  Mommy said I could drive. We bounced around a LOT and I hit my cheek on the steering wheel once.  But I LOVED it!

 Then it was time to let Ava see Mickey and Minnie.  We waited at a door and when Mickey opened it, Ava took his hand and walked away from us.  When they got to the room where Minnie was she ran to Minnie.  I was a little more reserve about 2 big rodents!
