Soccer Season 2012

Talia's second game.  She is hot and tired. 

 

 

The end of the season!  One game to go, but coach won't be there, so trophies came a week early.

Soccer Time

Talia had her first day of soccer practice.  Yes, she is wearing a skirt, but that is how this girl rolls. 

 

She was a very good listener once she got confortable with Coach K. 

 

She took her time dribbling the ball and making sure she was doing it correctly. 

 

 

Talia's Birthday Disney Trip

We went to Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom and Epcot for Talia's 4th birthday.  We started out at Toy Story, one of our favorite rides!

 

 

After spending the mroning running around the part we left Hollywood Studios and headed to Magic Kingdom. 

At the hotel there was a game room.  Talia loved the driving game.  She just barely was able to touch the peddle. 

On her birthday, August 1st, we had dinner in the hotel resturant.  She got a chocolate milk shake for her birthday dessert.  I think she drnk 2 sips and was done. 

The 2nd day we went to Epcot.  Talia wanted braids in her hair and we came up with this cute style. 

 

She did get to see Belle, but ran away when Beast headed her way. 

On one of the rides, they gave her a flash light so she would not be scared of the dark.  She only liked the dark if I warned her so she could close her eyes.... hmmmm

On the way home after a fun 2 days with Mommy.

Talia's 4th Birthday Party

Talia had her 4th birthday party at O2B Kids.  She had a princess theme.  They started out playing in the open play area.  

Talia and Mason tried to play fooseball.  I think they had about 8 balls on the field at a time.  

Then we all went to arts and crafts.  The kids made prince and princess crowns with crayons and feathers. 

Next, was science.  They made gak and everyone got to take some home. 

Talia loved all her presents and they are still all over the living room floor. 

Ava's 2nd Birthday

Ava had her 2nd birthday at Little Gym.  It was a penguin theme, since she LOVES penguins.  Talia even got a matching big sister outfit.

Talia can walk the balance beam.  There were two of them a short one and a tall one.  She would breeze through the short one and then be more worried about the tall one.  Being the oldest kid there, she was really good helping the little kids.

 Pizza Time

When they put the cake in front of Ava she said, " I need spoon."  I think she thought it was all for her. 

We didn't even think about how the black icing would color the kids faces....

Ava as always is a pretty neat eater. 

Ava's gift grab box from Uncle Matt and Uncle Dan. 

 The motorcycle she got from Nana and PopPop.  Now she can keep up with Talia.

Her baby doll from Mackenzie and Lexi.  She got lots of awesome stuff.  She got a dollhouse, bubble supplies, books, barbies and more :)

The Girls

Ava decided she wanted to ride the My Little Pony.  She she carefully figured out how to sit on the ponies back.

The night of tropical storm Beryl the girls slept in our room - that way everyone was safe and accounted for.  This is what I found when I went to check on them. 

Tonight the girls wanted to sleep together.  I figured it was only a few days earlier than I planned to attempt the toddler bed with Ava.  So we got it out and set up.  She was so excited.  She only came out of the room 2x.  The first with Talia and the 2nd for a diaper change.  She just looked out, shut the door and got back into the bed.  This is how I found them sleeping.
