Turkey Day - but I didn't get any Turkey!

There was plenty of Thanksgiving food - these are the left overs! We started the day at the P's house. There were lots of people there and I had a good time watching everyone. I did take a nap while I was there but I didn't want to miss out on too much of the fun.

While there I played airplane with Dad and Uncle Matt. I had a great time and got to play with everyone.

Eating and Visiting

Today was a really busy day!

I swang in my swing and since my teeth have been bugging me I decided to chew on the sides of my swing. Mommy tried a few times to move me, but I kept going back to chew - so she finally gave in and let me.

Then we went to Grandpa's office. Grandpa said I could sit at his desk and try to do his work. Apparently, I did it better than him! They offered me a job. I turned them down since I like my hours with Mommy and Grandpa works too many hours for a baby. I turned on lots of programs and I typed word documents. I even opened the office cameras because I wanted to see what everyone was doing.


Who me? I don't want to take the job - but I am willing to help out when you get behind.
This was a really busy day - next we went out to the Kastelz's house for lunch! I took a nap on the way over in the car and slept for a little while once we got there - but then I was up for socializing.

Staying home with Mommy

Mommy is home this week and I am staying home with her! I didn't want to sleep so Mommy had to be very creative in finding things for me to do. I like my bumbo, my tigger and my mirror. They are my favorite toys.
Later Monday night, I got into my night clothes. This is a new outfit that Nana and PawPaw bought for me. I love the design on it. It buttons up like a star-trek suit! Mommy and Daddy thought that was funny. I thought it was funny when Mommy tried to change my diaper at 1am.

Visiting Great Maw-Maw Kastelz's House

On Sunday I had a busy day I went to visit my Great Maw-maw. She and Aunt Sandra had not seen me in a while and they said I had gotten much bigger since they last saw me. I think they are just getting smaller! I had just woke up when Maw-maw held me - so I had some stretching and waking to do before I smiled.
Aunt Sandra held me second - after Daddy played with me. So I was more awake and I tried to take her glasses. I thought they looked really cute and figured I would need them one day anyway.
Uncle Bill called while we were there - he had to work and couldn't come to visit, but I will see him later this week. He said he wanted copies of the pictures of Aunt Sandra playing with me. I layed on the floor, talked and played for about 45 minutes. I had such a good time!

Reading Books & Writing Blogs

I have been busy today. I have slept a lot since I didn't feel well, but I have been reading and blogging a lot too. Right now I am dictating to mom what to write, I am not in the typing mood. I feel like I keep repeating myself since she doesn't always hear me correctly. I have been talking to her for about 10 minutes.
I like to read too - here I am reading in bed. I have a habit of reading myself to sleep.

One thing I am glad about having earring is that I can wear my blue outfits now and people will stop thinking I look like a boy. If they still get confused, then they are just wacko! That was the only word mommy would let me use. She said no to the others I thought to use.

I got my ears pierced today

I have been waiting to get my ears pierced! We went when I was 2 1/2 months old and they said I was a little too thin and should wait a few more weeks. So we waited a little more than a month. Mom and Grandma went with me to Claires. Mommy picked out little gold balls like she had when she was a baby and Grandma walked me around the store so I could try things on. Here's what I tried on:

The lady then marked my ears. It took a few trys because everyone wanted to make sure my ears were even!
Here are the earring hole makers. I am glad I didn't see them first.

It only hurt for a second and now I don't even notice them! I look so cute. I will get dressed up and post pictures of my new earring tomorrow!

Bumbo

This past weekend Mommy and Daddy got me a bumbo - it's blue - but it's okay - it's a light blue and I do have a lot of pink already. I can sit up in it really well. They took me to Grandma and Grandpa's house and I sat on the kitchen table in it. Too bad I don't have pictures of that.

Cold Mornings

It's been really cold in the mornings. I get all bundled up before going anywhere. Mommy keeps trying to put hats on me and Daddy makes fun of her! I think I look quite cute!

Playing in my Bouncy seat

I love my bouncy seat! I have butterflies to play with and a flower that makes noise! Here I am playing in my bouncy seat and I thought I looked really pretty!Just so you all know my mommy is trying to stifle my creativity. She is sitting her looking over my shoulder while I try to type. She keeps changing what I am typing. I don't like it so I am yelling at her! She promised not to change what I am about to type, so here goes

Learning to Play in my Crib

I have learned to play in my crib! I have awesome toys. I have a book that makes crinkling noise, my pacifer pup and my bumper has cute animals on it. When I wake up I can play with all my toys.

Last night mommy fed me like normal around midnight and then I woke up again around 4am. After she feds me she always puts me in my crib to go back to sleep. Well... last night, I decided to play instead of sleeping. I kicked my legs around, I scooted around my crib on my back, I grabbed my toys and talked to my bumper. I had a great time. After about 40 minutes of being alone, I wanted mommy. So, I cried (hehehe).

But, I didn't expect her to get me and take me to her bed! I wanted to play! So I laid in her bed for about 20 minutes looking around and then feel asleep! But, somehow I woke up in my crib again! I am going to have to work on paying closer attention to what happens when I sleep!

Vetern's Day

Today is Vetern's Day!

Mommy stayed home with me today! She didn't have work. We played all day and I tried not to sleep too much! All day long I never took a nap more than an hour!!! I would wake up and play or cry for mommy to come get me. Here is me playing. Mom wanted me to keep my mind active, she made sure I had plenty to do. She keeps wanting me to do "tummy time", but I rather roll over and look at her!

Sunday Football

It's Sunday - I like it because I LOVE trying to watch football on TV. I think I might want to be a sportscaster when I grow up. Here I am dressed up wearing my Jags cheerleading outfit.
Mommy helped my stand up on the couch. I like it until I fell down. I put both pictures on the blog. I was really happy I could stand - but Mommy thought it was funny when I cried because I fell down.

Eating my Octopus

One of the gifts I got before I was born was an octopus. Well, I really like playing with him. I have found there are animals on the end of his tenticles and they fit really well into my mouth. Here I am eating the dolphin.

My First Football Game

I went to my first football game on Friday night - GO NEASE PATHERS! My uncle Matt is a football coach and I wanted to go see him coach and his students play. They had a game near my house so we went! It was chilly outside so I am bundled up! Here is a picture of my at the game.Nease won and is going to the play-offs in two weeks! I am not going - as you can see I was tired and didn't make it to half time. My bedtime is around 7:30 and thats when the game started. I stayed awake as long as I could.

Controlling Mom and Dad

I have been busy being demanding the last few days. Whenever mom, dad or Ms. Lori (daycare lady) put me down I cry and they pick me back up! It's a great way to keep being held! And if they take their time getting to me I can cry harder and they come faster. I love this!

In the mornings Mommy, Daddy and I play in bed. Here is Daddy and I playing airplane! I love the game and I get to kiss his scratching goate. You can even see me smiling in this picture.


I also like to lounge on Mommy and Daddy's bed while they get ready in the mornings. Sometimes the dogs get on the bed with me. I put a picture of me and Raven here too.

I can also roll over from my belly to my back. I wanted to be able to see Daddy and Raven better so I rolled over. Dad held on good to me - he didn't want me to fall off the bed. I tried to tell him I didn't want to fall off either so he didn't need to worry about be getting near the edge, but he worried anyways.

Election Day

Well, Mommy voted last week so I didn't get to go to the polls with her like I did for the primary races. But, she and I went to a friends house to talk about the election. Not sure I understand everything - but it sounds interesting. I think Daddy is going to vote on the way home from work. Mommy said she would remind him, only if he agreed with her picks. I am not sure if that was a joke or not, I am kinda young. We will see what happens when I get up for my 1am feeding.
